Classy Purple
Hey guys! I had a bit of an emergency Fashion Advice post so don’t worry for those who are waiting! I’ll get them in later I promise x)
This request was from a girl and she asked for a classy look  that has some high-waisted items and maxi skirts but also fit the theme of her school dance, purple and violet. So I hope this helps!
Outfit 1: I checked out your blog and saw that you like collars so I thought it would be good to incorporate them! Why not wear a purple maxi skirt? Since you are short, you can wear natural waist maxi skirts as a high-waisted maxi skirt without anyone knowing the difference! Pair it with a lace button down to give it a feminine touch! For accessories, a statement gold buckle belt, a black and white shoulder bag and black sandals for a easy going kind-of-feel, but if you have sandal heels then that’s even better!
Outfit 2: Why not wear a natural waist dress? This type of dress flatters every type of body type because it draws attention to the waist while making it elegant. I paired this dress with a statement necklace, white clutch and white sandal wedges! * If you haven’t worn heels, it’s better to start off with wedges because they’re easier to walk in while getting used to the height.
Outfit 3: This is a bit more sophisticated but still dressy at the same time! I started with high-waisted black pants and paired it with peplum top because it, again, brings attention to your waist.  Although,if you don’t have high-waisted jeans you can always wear a pencil skirt to replace it! For accessories, a black clutch and a pair of mary janes to give the illusion of a long leg, which means you can look taller!

Sweet Sorbet

Hey guys! How’s it goin? Sorry I haven’t been able to post much in a while. With prom coming up, I’ve been in a frantic kind of mode for a while and not it elevated, BUT THAT’S FOR ANOTHER POST!

Here’s an OOTD for you guys! Today was really nice and warm so I decided to sport my peach flare skirt and paired it with a DIY denim vest. For accessories, you guys know how it is by now; heart pendant necklace, brown braided belt, Anne Klein watch, bracelet and nude flats! Just a simple yet dressy outfit that I hope inspires you guys! It doesn’t take that much effort to look ‘dressed up’. Just a flirty skirt is all ya need! Have a great weekend guys!

Scarf Weather

Hey guys! How’s it going? I have another OOTD for you guys!

It’s been pretty rainy over here on the East Coast lately, but I’m not complaining because that means we also get a little of a break from the pollen. Anyways, I just didn’t feel like ‘dressing up’ but I got inspired from Aimee Song’s The Not So Basic Basic outfit post, and did my version!

I put on a simple v-neck with distressed jeans and my usual brown belt, watch and bracelet. I added the printed scarf for a more luxurious feel and slipped on some nude flats for a clean look. Have a great weekend guys!

It’s hot, yet cold.

Hey dereee. How’s it goin? Yesterday was kind of chilly in the morning but it got warmer throughout the day so I decided to wear this!

My legs don’t normally get as cold so I chose my favorite trouser high-waisted shorts from my Mom’s closet. I paired it with my knit sweater from H&M. I accessorized with my thrifted boots, brown belt from Claire’s and statement necklace from eFoxcity.com ( it’s croocked cause it was really windy -.- ) Have a great week guys!

I found this bandanna and it inspired me to make this outfit! I went with a plain v-neck and paired it with polka dot capris from Wal-Mart for $7! I accessorized with a mustard belt for extra color, Anne Klein watch, heart pendant necklace and chalk converse. Have a great week guys!

Stuff I Made: PJ Bottoms

Hey guys! Here’s another ‘Stuff I made’!

I made these PJ bottoms for my fashion class in school! I loved making these because I learned how to do a lot of basic sewing techniques. The only difference I did was that I used an elastic waistband whereas the pattern teaches you how to do a drawstring. If you sew and want the pattern, here it is: http://www.simplicity.com/p-2618-its-so-easy-miss-men-sleepwear.aspx

Have a great weekend guys!

Striped Sailor

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting for a while again. I just came back from Florida on Sunday and it was nice today so I decided to show you guys my OOTD!

Don’t you guys love this dress? I got so many compliments on it and BTW, it’s from dElias. Unfortunately, it’s not there anymore because I got it in December, but there is something like it in navy so try that out! I love adding pops of color and today’s color is RED! I paired these red boat shoes from Easy Pickins with a matching waist belt from Forever21. For accessories, heart pendant necklace, Anne Klein necklace and beaded bracelet. Have a great week guys!

How to style floral flats!

Hi hun x) Sorry for not posting this until now. I’ve been trying to adjust to a new browser and just found the screenshot app today LOL so here it is!

With any print that you have on your outfit, just make sure that one color from the print matches what you’re wearing. Such as with the floral leggings, floral flats are no different. I made 3 different outfits with different personalities. Hope you enjoy!

Outfit 1: This is for the girly girl who likes her flowy dresses and vintage wear. I matched these floral open-toed flats with a redish-orange a line dress. I added a white belt to match, a collar for a touch class and a clutch to match!

Outfit 2: This is for the trendy girl. A girl who is willing to take risks. I started out with a pair of distressed jeans to balance the girliness of the flats. I went with a bow blouse and a gold belt. To add a pop of color, a mint shoulder bag!

Outfit 3: This is for the more conservative, yet trendy girl. A girl who covers herself and doesn’t like to show skin but with a touch of sophistication. I chose a pair of flats with a black lining cause ya know, why not? I matched it with a pair of black skinnies, a white v-neck and an aqua blazer. I gotta have my gold accessories too!

Orange - the original neon

Hey guys! How goes it? Unfortunately, the nice weather came to an end to quickly for now. But I took a few shots of my outfit from yesterday so it’s OK!

Neon is came back from last spring, such as bright pinks, greens and yellows. But no ever wears orange! It’s a color that goes with every single skin color! It makes you look tanner and illuminated! So don’t shy away from it ladies! I paired this printed orange drop-waist dress from Urban Outfitters with a Tommy Hilfiger denim jacket! For accessories, my heart pendant necklace, Anne Klein watch, beaded bracelet and nude flats from Payless. Have a great weekend guys!
