Different ways to wear a pencil skirt
This was pretty hard for me so I played with different types of pencil/ tight fitting skirts, as well as different scenarios you would wear them to. Hope this helps & enjoy!
Outfit 1: This is an outfit you can wear to a job interview; it has a classic silhouette a hint of sassiness. I started with a basic black pencil skirt and paired it was a sleeveless white collar top. For the fall/winter season you can add a cardigan or a blazer, in this case a raspberry cardigan. For accessorizes, I kept it simple with a black & white handbag, with strappy kitten heels but I added a royal blue necklace for a little bit of color blocking. Although, this would only be appropriate for a creative job, such as in the fashion industry or anywhere else in the arts. Otherwise, keep it classic and simple.
Outfit 2: This would be a great outfit to wear for work in the daytime, as well as a dinner date. I started with this mint peplum skirt with a tan belt and paired it with this ruffld collared top. I kept it simple by accessorizing with a structured shoulder bag and floral flats for a pop of color.
Outfit 3: This outfit I’d like to call my Thanksgiving outfit. I started with this awesome printed tulip skirt and paired it with a gold chain belt to keep it dressy. This is where the Thanksgiving comes in, you know when you have to look nice but I don’t want to feel tight because you’re going to eat all that food, you can pair a pretty skirt with a solid oversized sweater and tuck it a little bit of it in front to give it a high-low effect. For accessorizes, a simple long pendant necklace, with brown booties but a teal shoulder bag to compliment the mustard sweater.
